ABOUT THE COURSE

In this course we will explore all the tips of biomechanics in the management of aligners. At the end of your stay with Dr. Palma, you will have learned and acquired the protocols to treat each type of malocclusion. In doing so, you will gain the necessary confidence to solve any case you have to face successfully, despite its complexity.

In this intensive course, Dr. Susana Palma will show you the diagnosis and the biomechanics to solve transversal discrepancies, vertical discrepancies ( Deep and open bites), sagittal discrepancies ( Class II and class III corrections), micromovements, crowding cases.

ABOUT THE COURSE

In this intensive course, Dr. Palma will focus on the diagnosis and management of growing patients with the aligner technique, treatments in temporary dentition and in mixed dentition, teen treatments, and biomechanics in growing patients in the three planes of space. She will show you tips for efficiency in the 3D software. For those doctors who want to strengthen their clinics with growing patients and see how a consultation that seeks synergies with other specialties such as pediatric dentistry, speech therapy, pediatrics is organized.The doctor who attends this course will be able to learn and manage the peculiarities of the technique in growing patients, promoting the development of their consultations and promoting multidisciplinary treatment in growing patients.

In addition, we will explain the diagnosis and management of growing patients from the perspective of Neuro-Occlusal Rehabilitation (RNO) and Respiratory Masticatory Rehabilitation (RMR) and we will give a guided session with speech therapist exercises on swallowing, chewing and breathing.

In this intensive course, Dr. Palma will focus on complex cases in adult patients, carrying out the most complete programme possible, explaining the biomechanics protocols in multidisciplinary patients, with and without auxiliary techniques, from the moment of design with the 3D software to the moment of finishing the cases.

In addition, she will show you protocols for cases of asymmetries and biomechanics protocols with TADs and auxiliary techniques. With all these protocols, you will have obtained sufficient confidence to treat any type of malocclusion, despite its complexity. You will be able to increase the number of cases treated with Aligners.
